I always want to know something about the people who write the blogs I read so here is a little about me.
My name is Katie and I'm wife to John and mother to Emma and Maci. I'm also a 5th grade school teacher. I started this blog because I was inspired by so many others that I read. I struggle with the everyday life of being a wife and a mother to a 1 year old and a 3 year old and I also work full time. Life gets hectic but I find that blogging really helps me to get out the stress and get things into perspective.
I'm very impatient- something John reminds me of often. I tend to want life to speed up in certain places and slow down in others. I love spending time with my girls, dressing them up, pageants with Emma, going out to eat, going to movies, I'm just the typical 24 year girl-except with a husband and 2 kids!

John and I were married December 29th, 2007. I was 19, he was 21.
Emma Kate was born June 27th, 2008.
Maci Brooke was born January 7th, 2011
